Rosie's Dollar Parlour. The store carries a large line of
kitchen gadgets and housewares. Try the Ecno-Buy Light
Bulbs. They last three times longer than GE Bulbs, and you
can't go wrong at three for $1. Other dollar items to check
out include: liquid hand soap, foaming bathroom cleaner,
telephone cords, and lots of party supplies. |

no need to trek out to the Home Depot, Medford has Spotts
Home Center. Spotts has a reputation for being a bit
expensive, I find the convenience and excellent customer
service worth a few cents more.

Video
rentals are FREE at the Pinelands Library (and all other
branches of the Burlington County Library System. They
have a bigger selection than you'll find in any video
store, just fewer copies. What you have to do is use
WebPAC to place holds on the tapes and DVDs you want, make
up a list and reserve a bunch. Each time a selected title
becomes available it will be sent to the Pinelands Branch.
You'll get a phone call from the computer telling you your
materials are available for pick-up. Most titles have to be
returned in seven days, some titles three to five days. It
can sometimes take a long time before it's your turn on a
current title, but it's free. All you need to get
started is a library card. |
