SHAMONG—If you’re a supporter of Shamong’s schools and like to have a good time as well, you’d better mark Feb. 24 on your calendar.
Medford/Vincentown Rotary offers scholarships
MEDFORD—The Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club is once again offering $21,000 in scholarships to five qualifying high school seniors that live in the Medford-Vincentown communities and attend either Shawnee, Seneca, Holy Cross, Burlington County Institute of Technology or Bishop Eustace high schools.
It's almost time to register for kindergarten in Shamong
SHAMONG— Kindergarten registration for September 2012 in the township is scheduled for next month. Parents should complete the registration packet at Indian Mills School during the week of Feb. 27 in order to help school officials structure classes for next year.
South Jersey Young Professional Association aims to give back to the community
EVESHAM—The South Jersey Young Professional Association (SJYPA) is the brainchild of South Jersey realtor and resident Angela Barnshaw. After relocating to the area six years ago, she found it hard to find a professional group focused on community service on this side of the Delaware River. So in 2007, she started SJYPA, with the aim of creating a network of young professionals with a desire to give back to their communties.

MEDFORD—A vacant home on North Main Street was broken into, police said, but nothing was taken.
